No antacids should be taken within 2 hours of taking this medicine. It should be used regularly at evenly spaced time intervals as prescribed by your doctor. Stopping the medicine too early may lead to the infection returning or worsening.Common side effects with this medicine include diarrhea nausea indigestion abdominal pain headache vomiting and rash.
