Urtirid 40 Tablet belongs to a group of medicines known as antihistamines. It is used in the treatment of allergy symptoms such as runny nose stuffy nose sneezing watery eyes and congestion or stuffiness.Urtirid 40 Tablet can be taken one hour before or two hours after food but take it at the same time to get the most benefit. It should be taken as your doctor's advice. The dose and how often you take it depends on what you are taking it for. Your doctor will decide how much you need to improve your symptoms. Remember dosage is decided on the basis of the type of medicine (tablet or syrup ) age and present medical condition of the person. You should take this medicine for as long as it is prescribed for you. If you do not observe any improvement in the symptoms consult with the doctor.The most common side effects of this medicine include headaches and drowsiness. Do not drive if these symptoms occur. | - Kidney : CAUTION <p> Urtirid 40 Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Urtirid 40 Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor. | - Liver : CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR <p> There is limited information available on the use of Urtirid 40 Tablet in patients with liver disease. Please consult your doctor.

If you miss a dose of Urtirid 40 Tablet take it as soon as possible. However if it is almost time for your next dose skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.

How fast does Urtirid 40 Tablet work?::: The effects of this medicine may be noticed as early as one hour after taking and last approximately 24 hours.| Q. How much Urtirid 40 Tablet can you take?::: The recommended dose of this medication is 1 tablet (20 mg) taken by mouth once a day. It should be taken with water on an empty stomach; one hour before eating or two hours after eating for the best effect. Do not self-medicate and always consult your doctor. Can I take antacids while taking Urtirid 40 Tablet?::: It is advisable to avoid taking antacids 30 minutes before or after taking this medicine.
