This medicine usually makes you feel better within a few days but you should continue taking it as prescribed even when you feel better. Stopping it early may make the infection come back and harder to treat.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Sefdin Capsule may be taken with or without food but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

Sefdin Capsule is an antibiotic medicine used to treat a variety of bacterial infections. It is effective in infections of the respiratory tract (eg. pneumonia) urinary tract ear nasal sinus throat and some sexually transmitted diseases.Sefdin Capsule may be taken with or without food. You should take it regularly at evenly spaced intervals as per the schedule prescribed by your doctor. Taking it at the same time every day will help you to remember to take it. The dose will depend on what you are being treated for but you should always complete a full course of this antibiotic as prescribed by your doctor. Do not stop taking it until you have finished even when you feel better. If you stop taking it early some bacteria may survive and the infection may come back.The most common side effects of this medicine include rash allergic reaction nausea and diarrhea. These are usually mild but let your doctor know if they bother you or last more than a few days. Before using it you should tell your doctor if you are allergic to any antibiotics or have any kidney or liver problems. You should also let your healthcare team know all other medicines you are taking as they may affect or be affected by this medicine. Pregnant and breastfeeding mothers should consult their doctor before using it. Avoid consuming alcohol while taking this medicine as it may cause unpleasant side effects like nausea vomiting sweating anxiety and palpitations.

- Alcohol : UNSAFE <p> Sefdin Capsule may cause excessive drowsiness with alcohol. | - Pregnancy : SAFE IF PRESCRIBED <p> Sefdin Capsule is generally considered safe to use during pregnancy. Animal studies have shown low or no adverse effects to the developing baby; however there are limited human studies. | - Breast feeding : SAFE IF PRESCRIBED <p> Sefdin Capsule is safe to use during breastfeeding. Human studies suggest that the drug does not pass into the breastmilk in a significant amount and is not harmful to the baby.Avoid prolonged use of Sefdin Capsule since it may have possible effects such as rash and diarrhea. | - Driving : UNSAFE <p> Sefdin Capsule may decrease alertness affect your vision or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur. | - Kidney : CAUTION <p> Sefdin Capsule should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Sefdin Capsule may be needed. Please consult your doctor. | - Liver : SAFE IF PRESCRIBED <p> Sefdin Capsule is probably safe to use in patients with liver disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Sefdin Capsule may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor.

If you miss a dose of Sefdin Capsule take it as soon as possible. However if it is almost time for your next dose skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.

Can the use of Sefdin Capsule cause diarrhea?::: Yes the use of Sefdin Capsule can cause diarrhea. Sefdin Capsule is an antibiotic which kills the harmful bacteria but can also affect the helpful bacteria in your stomach or intestine and cause diarrhea. If diarrhea persists talk to your doctor about it.| Q. What if I forget to take a dose of Sefdin Capsule?::: If you forget a dose of Sefdin Capsule take it as soon as you remember. However if it is almost time for your next dose skip the missed dose and take the next scheduled dose. Do not double the dose to make up for the missed one as this may increase the chances of developing side effects.| Q. What should you avoid while taking Sefdin Capsule?::: You must avoid antacids containing aluminum or magnesium iron supplements or multivitamins while taking Sefdin Capsule. It is best to take these medicines at least 2 hours before or after taking Sefdin Capsule.| Q. How long does Sefdin Capsule take to work?::: Usually Sefdin Capsule starts working soon after you take it. However it may take some days to kill all the harmful bacteria and relieve your symptoms completely.| Q. What if I do not get better after using Sefdin Capsule?::: Inform your doctor if you do not feel better even after finishing the full course of treatment. You must also inform your doctor if the symptoms get worse while using this medicine.| Q.
