Your doctor will decide the dose you need and how many injections you should have to improve your anemia. It will also help to eat a well-balanced diet that has enough iron. Good sources of iron include pulses (dal) green leafy vegetables like spinach beans eggs dry fruits and non-vegetarian foods.The most common side effects include altered taste hypertension (high blood pressure) nausea and injection site reactions (such as pain redness and swelling). Some people may develop a temporary fall in blood pressure (hypotension) if this medicine is given too rapidly. Your doctor will also monitor you for signs of an allergic reaction such as breathlessness dizziness feeling uneasy hives swelling of face tongue and throat etc. while this medicine is being given.
