It is used for the treatment of breast cancer pancreatic cancer and non-small cell lung cancer in adults.Nabtaxel 100mg Injection is given as an injection by a trained healthcare professional. Your doctor will decide what dose is necessary and how often you need to take it. This will depend on what you are being treated for and may change from time to time. It should be used exactly as your doctor has advised. Taking it in the wrong way or taking too much can cause very serious side effects. It may take several weeks or months for you to see or feel the benefits but the treatment should not be stopped unless your doctor tells you to.Some common side effects of this medicine include nausea vomiting diarrhea and weakness. It may also cause serious side effects such as swelling of hands or lips hair loss and nerve problems. To reduce these side effects your doctor may suggest some medications along with it. But inform your doctor if you notice unexplained bruising or bleeding sore throat mouth ulcers high temperature (fever). Pancreatic cancer: It is given every week (i.e. on days 1 8 and 15 of each 28-day cycle). Every 28 days is called one ‘cycle’ of chemotherapy. Another medicine called gemcitabine is also given on days 1 8 and 15 after Nabtaxel 100mg Injection has been given. Your doctor will decide how many of these cycles you will need.| Q. Does Nabtaxel 100mg Injection cause hair loss?::: Yes while taking this medicine your hair may become brittle and break. You may also experience patchy hair loss or thinning. These conditions tend to resolve once the treatment is stopped. Be gentle when brushing and washing hair to manage hair loss.| Q. How to get relief from diarrhea while on treatment with Nabtaxel 100mg Injection?::: Food items with soluble fiber can help relieve diarrhea as they help absorb excess fluid from the body. These food items include bananas (ripe) oranges boiled potatoes white rice curd and oatmeal. Diarrhea can cause dehydration in the body; therefore drink 8-10 glasses of water to avoid dehydration. You can also have soups and juices frequently to hydrate yourself.| Q. Should I avoid any food and drinks while taking Nabtaxel 100mg Injection?::: You can continue with your normal diet unless your doctor tells otherwise.
