It can also help reduce symptoms such as confusion uncontrollable jerking movements loss of awareness and fear or anxiety. It is given as an injection by a doctor or nurse.

Lorsco 2mg Injection is a prescription medicine used to treat status epilepticus. A medical emergency when a prolonged seizure occurs or continuous seizure occurs within a span of five minutes even before the person recovers from the previous one.Lorsco 2mg Injection may also be used to induce anesthesia before an investigation or a surgical procedure. It relieves anxiety and muscle tension thus making the person comfortable before the operation or investigation procedure. This medicine is given as an injection under the supervision of a healthcare professional. Lorsco 2mg Injection may be given into your vein (intravenously) or into one of your muscles (intramuscularly). The recommended dose depends on your age weight and why it is being used for you. It is usually used for a short-term only owing to its high habit-forming potential.Side effects of this medicine include drowsiness sedation tiredness confusion depression muscle weakness. It may also cause dizziness and sleepiness so do not drive or do anything that requires mental focus until you know how this medicine affects you. It is important to inform your doctor if you are pregnant planning to conceive or breastfeeding before taking this medicine.

- Alcohol : UNSAFE <p> It is unsafe to consume alcohol with Lorsco 2mg Injection. | - Pregnancy : CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR <p> Lorsco 2mg Injection is unsafe to use during pregnancy as there is definite evidence of risk to the developing baby. However the doctor may rarely prescribe it in some life-threatening situations if the benefits are more than the potential risks. Please consult your doctor. | - Breast feeding : CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR <p> Lorsco 2mg Injection is probably unsafe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug may pass into the breastmilk and harm the baby.Lorsco 2mg Injection should be used for short periods and sleepiness of the baby should be watched. The withdrawal of Lorsco 2mg Injection should be gradual. | - Driving : UNSAFE <p> Lorsco 2mg Injection may decrease alertness affect your vision or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur. | - Kidney : CAUTION <p> Lorsco 2mg Injection should be used with caution in patients with severe kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Lorsco 2mg Injection may be needed. Please consult your doctor.However inform your doctor if you have any underlying kidney disease. | - Liver : CAUTION <p> Lorsco 2mg Injection should be used with caution in patients with severe liver disease. If you miss a dose of Lorsco 2mg Injection take it as soon as possible. However if it is almost time for your next dose skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.\\n

Q. Is Lorsco 2mg Injection an opioid? Is it a habit-forming medicine?::: No Lorsco 2mg Injection is not an opioid. It belongs to the benzodiazepine group of medicines and is used for short-term treatment (2-4 weeks) only. It is a habit-forming medicine and can make a person physically and psychologically dependent.| Q. For how long will Lorsco 2mg Injection stay in my system?::: Lorsco 2mg Injection may take around 3 days to get completely removed from the system.| Q. Are there any symptoms that I would experience if I get addicted to Lorsco 2mg Injection?::: The most important symptom of addiction is that you may feel unpleasant if you do not take Lorsco 2mg Injection. Another symptom could be that you may increase the dose on your own to feel its effect.| Q. If I suddenly stop taking Lorsco 2mg Injection will it affect me adversely?::: You should reduce the dose of Lorsco 2mg Injection gradually before completely stopping it. Suddenly stopping it may lead to withdrawal symptoms which include loss of the sense of reality feeling detached from life and unable to feel emotion. Does Lorsco 2mg Injection cause weight gain?::: The effect of Lorsco 2mg Injection on weight gain or loss is not known. | Q. Does Lorsco 2mg Injection cause depression?::: If you have a history of depression then it may increase the risk of developing depression again. Lorsco 2mg Injection should not be used alone in depressed patients because it may cause suicidal tendencies in such patients.| Q. My old uncle is taking Lorsco 2mg Injection for sleeplessness associated with anxiety. Can it affect his memory?::: Though it is rare but use of Lorsco 2mg Injection can cause memory impairment which may be more apparent in old age patients.| Q. Are there any harmful effects of taking more than the recommended doses of Lorsco 2mg Injection?::: Taking more than the recommended dose of Lorsco 2mg Injection may cause loss of muscle control low blood pressure mental confusion slow breathing and even coma.
