By controlling the frequency of seizures it will help you go about your daily activities with more confidence. It helps reduce symptoms such as confusion uncontrollable jerking movements loss of awareness and fear or anxiety.\u003cbr>This medicine is not associated with any physical or psychological dependence (addiction) but it should not be stopped suddenly. It must be taken regularly as prescribed to be effective. Missing doses may trigger a seizure.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew crush or break it. Laconext 150 Tablet may be taken with or without food but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

Laconext 150 Tablet is used to control and prevent epilepsy (seizures). It controls seizures or fits by decreasing the abnormal and excessive activity of the nerve cells in the brain.Laconext 150 Tablet may be taken with or without food preferably at the same time each day. If you have missed a dose take it as soon as you remember as it can be life-threatening in some cases so it is better to keep an extra stock always to avoid a missed dose. You should finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better and always consult your doctor before stopping this medicine as it may increase seizure frequency. Inform your doctor if you have any heart-related problems before starting your treatment with this medicine.The use of this medicine may cause some side effects such as headaches dizziness dry mouth muscle spasms blurred vision nausea diplopia (double vision). Most of these side effects are self-limiting and they usually improve with time. Keep a watch on your weight as using this medicine can cause weight gain. Eat healthily and exercise regularly to manage it.

Do not drive if these symptoms occur. Laconext 150 Tablet may cause dizziness or blurred vision. This may affect your ability to drive. | - Kidney : CAUTION <p> Laconext 150 Tablet should be used with caution in patients with severe kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Laconext 150 Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor. | - Liver : CAUTION <p> Laconext 150 Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. If you miss a dose of Laconext 150 Tablet take it as soon as possible. However if it is almost time for your next dose skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.\\n

Can I stop taking it now?::: No you should not stop taking Laconext 150 Tablet even if you start feeling better. Stopping this medicine suddenly may lead to seizures which can be difficult to control. Consult your doctor if you experience any problems while being on treatment with Laconext 150 Tablet. The doctor may adjust the dose or gradually reduce the dose.| Q. Is it safe to drive if I am taking Laconext 150 Tablet?::: No you need to be careful while driving or operating heavy machinery until and unless you know how Laconext 150 Tablet affects you. You may experience dizziness or drowsiness and blurred vision especially during the initial days of treatment. These side effects can also be observed if the dose is increased.| Q. What should I do if I forget a dose of Laconext 150 Tablet?::: If you miss a dose of Laconext 150 Tablet within 6 hours of the scheduled time take it as soon as you remember. However if you have forgotten to take the dose for more than 6 hours of the scheduled time then skip the dose and take the next one as scheduled. Do not double the dose to make up for the missed dose.| Q. Is Laconext 150 Tablet a habit-forming medicine?::: No Laconext 150 Tablet is not habit forming. There are no reports which suggest occurrence of withdrawal symptoms following its discontinuation. Laconext 150 Tablet may cause euphoria (patients may feel extremely happy and overwhelmed) in some individuals who may then take it merely for fun (drug abuse). It is possible that such individuals may become psychologically dependent on this medicine.| Q. Does Laconext 150 Tablet have any effect on fertility?::: Laconext 150 Tablet has not been reported to affect fertility in males or females. However if you are concerned consult the doctor.| Q. Can I take Laconext 150 Tablet if I am pregnant or breastfeeding?::: Though no potential side effects have been reported with the use of Laconext 150 Tablet during pregnancy and breastfeeding it is best to avoid Laconext 150 Tablet during pregnancy and breastfeeding.| Q.
