Glymont AF Tablet SR is a combination medicine used in the prevention of asthma. It relieves allergy symptoms such as runny nose stuffy nose sneezing watery eyes and congestion or stuffiness. It also helps in relaxing the muscles of the air passages thus widening it and making it easier to breathe.Glymont AF Tablet SR is taken with or without food in a dose and duration as advised by the doctor. The dose you are given will depend on your condition and how you respond to the medicine. You should keep taking this medicine for as long as your doctor recommends. If you stop treatment too early your symptoms may come back and your condition may worsen. Let your healthcare team know about all other medications you are taking as some may affect or be affected by this medicine.The most common side effects are nausea vomiting stomach pain diarrhea skin rash itching breathing difficulty and headache. Most of these are temporary and usually resolve with time. Contact your doctor straight away if you are at all concerned about any of these side effects. This medicine may cause dizziness and sleepiness so do not drive or do anything that requires mental focus until you know how this medicine affects you. Avoid drinking alcohol while taking this medicine as it can worsen your sleepiness.Before taking it you should tell your doctor if you have any kidney or liver diseases so that your doctor can prescribe a suitable dose for you. You should also tell your doctor if you are pregnant planning pregnancy or breastfeeding.

Please consult your doctor. | - Driving : UNSAFE <p> Glymont AF Tablet SR may decrease alertness affect your vision or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur. | - Kidney : CAUTION <p> Glymont AF Tablet SR should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Glymont AF Tablet SR may be needed. Please consult your doctor. | - Liver : SAFE IF PRESCRIBED <p> Glymont AF Tablet SR is probably safe to use in patients with liver disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Glymont AF Tablet SR may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor.

If you miss a dose of Glymont AF Tablet SR take it as soon as possible. However if it is almost time for your next dose skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.

Avoid drinking alcohol while taking Glymont AF Tablet SR. Drinking alcohol will increase the severity of drowsiness or sleepiness caused by Glymont AF Tablet SR.| Q. Can I stop Glymont AF Tablet SR when my symptoms are relieved?::: No Glymont AF Tablet SR should be continued as advised by the doctor. If you experience any problem due to the use of Glymont AF Tablet SR inform your doctor.| Q. Can the use of Glymont AF Tablet SR cause dizziness?::: Yes the use of Glymont AF Tablet SR can cause dizziness (feeling faint weak unsteady or lightheaded) in some patients. If you feel dizzy or lightheaded it is better to rest for some time and resume once you feel better.| Q. Will a higher than the recommended dose of Glymont AF Tablet SR be more effective?::: No taking a higher than the recommended dose of Glymont AF Tablet SR will not make it more effective rather it can lead to increased side effects. If the symptoms are getting worse please consult the doctor for re-evaluation.| Q. What are the instructions for the storage and disposal of Glymont AF Tablet SR?::: Keep this medicine in the container it came in tightly closed. Store it according to the instructions mentioned on the pack or label. Dispose of the unused medicine. Make sure it is not consumed by pets children and other people.
