Freedonap 500mg/10mg Tablet is a combination of two medicines used in the prevention of migraines. It blocks the release of certain chemical messengers that cause pain inflammation and fever. It also blocks the signals in the brain that cause nausea and vomiting associated with migraines.Freedonap 500mg/10mg Tablet may be prescribed alone or in combination with another medicine. It can be taken with or without food. The dose and duration will depend on the severity of your condition and how well it helps your symptoms. Use it regularly and do not discontinue using it until the doctor tells you it is alright to stop.Using of the medicine may cause few common side effects such as flu-like symptoms indigestion and dryness in the mouth. If you experience any such side effects that do not go away or get worse you should let your doctor know. Your doctor may be able to suggest ways of preventing or reducing the symptoms. In general you should try to use the smallest amount necessary to control your symptoms.Before using the medicine you should tell your doctor if you have any other illnesses or disorders. It may also affect your vision. This may affect your driving ability. | - Kidney : CAUTION <p> Freedonap 500mg/10mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Freedonap 500mg/10mg Tablet may be needed. If you miss a dose of Freedonap 500mg/10mg Tablet take it as soon as possible. However if it is almost time for your next dose skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.

Q. What is Freedonap 500mg/10mg Tablet?::: Freedonap 500mg/10mg Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Naproxen and Domperidone. This combination helps in relieving the symptoms of migraine like headache nausea and vomiting. Naproxen is a pain-killer that blocks the release of certain chemical messengers that cause headache. Domperidone is an anti-emetic agent (prokinetic). It increases the movement of the stomach and intestines allowing food to move more easily through the stomach. This helps in relieving vomiting.| Q. Can I stop taking Freedonap 500mg/10mg Tablet when my migraine symptoms are relieved?::: No do not stop taking Freedonap 500mg/10mg Tablet until advised by your doctor. | Q. Can the use of Freedonap 500mg/10mg Tablet cause diarrhea?::: Yes the use of Freedonap 500mg/10mg Tablet can cause diarrhea. In case you experience diarrhea drink plenty of water or other fluids. Talk to your doctor if diarrhea persists and you notice any signs of dehydration like less urination with dark coloured and strong-smelling urine. Do not take any other medicine without consulting a doctor.| Q. Are there any specific contraindications associated with the use of Freedonap 500mg/10mg Tablet?::: The use of Freedonap 500mg/10mg Tablet is considered to be harmful for patients with known allergy to any of the components or excipients of this medicine or in patients with known allergy to other painkillers (NSAIDs). The use of this medicine should preferably be avoided in patients with a history of stomach ulcers or in patients with active recurrent stomach ulcer/bleeding. It should also be avoided in patients with history of heart failure high blood pressure and liver or kidney disease.| Q. Can the use of Freedonap 500mg/10mg Tablet cause damage to kidneys?::: Yes the long-term use of Freedonap 500mg/10mg Tablet can cause damage to the kidneys. Normal kidneys produce a chemical called prostaglandins that protects them from damage. Use of painkillers lower the levels of prostaglandins in the body which leads to kidney damage on long-term use. Use of painkillers is not recommended to patients with underlying kidney disease.| Q.
