Follitec 75IU Injection is used in the treatment of infertility in women. It is also helpful in the treatment of male hypogonadism (delayed puberty and low sperm count). It works by releasing the eggs from the ovary in women and by increasing the testosterone level in men.Follitec 75IU Injection is given as an injection under the supervision of a doctor. Your doctor will decide the right time to take the injection so always follow your doctor's advice. The dose and how often you take it depends on what you are taking it for. You should take this medicine for as long as it is prescribed for you.The most common side effects of this medicine include allergic reactions headache swelling of the breast in males and acne. If these bother you or appear serious let your doctor know. There may be ways of reducing or preventing them.Before taking this medicine tell your doctor if you have ever had heart disease or had an ovarian cyst or had thyroid gland disorder. Your doctor should also know about all other medicines you are taking as many of these may make this medicine less effective or change the way it works. It is used in women who are unable to ovulate. It works by stimulating the growth of follicles (which contain eggs) in the ovary. This helps in the release of a properly developed egg at the time of ovulation. It is also used in assisted reproductive technology (ART) procedures such as in-vitro fertilization (IVF) which help women to become pregnant. It may also be used in adult men who are infertile due to lack of certain hormones and inability to produce enough sperm cells.| Q. How and in what dose should I take Follitec 75IU Injection?::: Follitec 75IU Injection is an injection given subcutaneously (just under the skin). The dose and treatment duration depend on the ovarian response of the patient.| Q. What if I miss a dose of Follitec 75IU Injection?::: Ideally you should try not to miss a dose of Follitec 75IU Injection.
