Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew crush or break it. Fludil 5T Tablet may be taken with or without food but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

Fludil 5T Tablet is a combination medicine used in the treatment of schizophrenia (a mental disorder in which a person develops unreal thoughts and behavior). It alters the thoughts and elevates the mood improving the person’s ability to think feel and behave.Fludil 5T Tablet also helps by improving muscle control and reducing the stiffness of the muscle. It may be taken with or without food preferably at the same time each day. Take it at the same time each day as this helps to maintain a consistent level of medicine in the body. Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor and if you have missed a dose take it as soon as you remember it. Do not skip any doses and finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better. It is important that this medication is not stopped suddenly without talking to your doctor as it may worsen your symptoms.Some common side effects of this medicine include nausea constipation dryness in mouth sedation abnormal heart rhythm urinary retention blurred vision and nervousness. Initially this medicine may cause a sudden drop in blood pressure when you change positions rise slowly if you have been sitting or lying down. It may also cause dizziness and sleepiness do not drive or do anything that requires mental focus until you know how this medicine affects you.Before taking it inform your doctor if you are suffering from thyroid or kidney problems epilepsy Parkinson’s disease glaucoma or any heart problems. You should not take this medicine if you are under the influence of alcohol or any sleep-inducing cough and/ or allergy medication. This medicine can also lead to weight gain eat a healthy balanced diet avoid snacking with high-calorie food and exercise regularly.

- Alcohol : UNSAFE <p> Fludil 5T Tablet may cause excessive drowsiness with alcohol. | - Pregnancy : CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR <p> Fludil 5T Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Although there are limited studies in humans animal studies have shown harmful effects on the developing baby. Your doctor will weigh the benefits and any potential risks before prescribing it to you. Please consult your doctor. | - Breast feeding : CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR <p> Fludil 5T Tablet is probably unsafe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug may pass into the breastmilk and harm the baby. | - Driving : UNSAFE <p> Fludil 5T Tablet may cause side effects which could affect your ability to drive.Fludil 5T Tablet can cause blurring of vision dizziness mild nausea and mental confusion in some cases. This may affect your ability to drive. | - Kidney : CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR <p> There is limited information available on the use of Fludil 5T Tablet in patients with kidney disease. Please consult your doctor.Patients with kidney disease should be closely monitored by a doctor while taking this medicine. | - Liver : CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR <p> There is limited information available on the use of Fludil 5T Tablet in patients with liver disease. Please consult your doctor.

If you miss a dose of Fludil 5T Tablet take it as soon as possible. However if it is almost time for your next dose skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.

Can I stop taking Fludil 5T Tablet if I feel well?::: No you should continue taking Fludil 5T Tablet even if you feel well. If you stop Fludil 5T Tablet suddenly serious withdrawal problems may occur. Your doctor will probably decrease your dose gradually before asking you to stop Fludil 5T Tablet.| Q. Can the use of Fludil 5T Tablet cause sleepiness?::: Yes Fludil 5T Tablet can make you feel sleepy. Avoid driving operating machinery working at heights or participating in potentially dangerous activities till you know how this medicine affects you.| Q. Can the use of Fludil 5T Tablet cause dry mouth?::: Yes the use of Fludil 5T Tablet can cause dry mouth. If you experience dry mouth drink plenty of water. Take regular sips during the day and keep some water by your bed at night. You may use lip balm if your lips are also dry. Try to avoid foods that are acidic (like lemons) spicy and salty.| Q. What are the instructions for the storage and disposal of Fludil 5T Tablet?::: Keep this medicine in the packet or the container it came in tightly closed. Store it according to the instructions mentioned on the pack or label. Dispose of the unused medicine. Make sure it is not consumed by pets children and other people.
