In Treatment of Nausea Emwin Injection blocks the action of chemicals in the body that can make you feel or be sick. It is often used to prevent nausea and vomiting that may be caused by cancer chemotherapy and radiation treatment (in adults and children aged 4 years and older). It is usually taken both before and after chemotherapy or radiation. This medicine helps you recover more comfortably from these treatments. It is also effective at preventing nausea and vomiting after an operation (in adults only). The dose will depend on what you are being treated for but always take this medicine as it is prescribed.

Emwin Injection is an antiemetic medicine commonly used to control nausea and vomiting due to certain medical conditions like stomach upset. It is also used to prevent nausea and vomiting caused due to any surgery cancer drug therapy or radiotherapy. Emwin Injection will not relieve other side effects associated with cancer treatments. It is given under the supervision of a doctor and may be used alone or with other medications. Your doctor will give you appropriate dose depending on what you are taking it for. It is important that you keep having the injections until your doctor decides it is safe to stop them. After this your doctor may prescribe tablets instead of the injections. The most common side effects of taking this medicine include injection site pain headache and constipation. These symptoms should disappear when you stop taking the medicine.  But if these side effects bother you or do not go away consult your doctor who may be able to suggest ways of preventing or reducing them.Before taking this medicine tell your doctor if you have heart or liver problems or a blockage in your stomach or intestines. Also tell your doctor about other drugs you are using especially medicines to treat epilepsy heart problems cancer and depression. These may affect or be affected by this medicine. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding ask for advice from your healthcare team.

- Alcohol : SAFE <p> Consuming alcohol with Emwin Injection does not cause any harmful side effects. | - Pregnancy : SAFE IF PRESCRIBED <p> Emwin Injection is generally considered safe to use during pregnancy. Animal studies have shown low or no adverse effects to the developing baby; however there are limited human studies. | - Breast feeding : SAFE IF PRESCRIBED <p> Emwin Injection is probably safe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent any significant risk to the baby. | - Driving : SAFE <p> Emwin Injection does not usually affect your ability to drive. | - Kidney : SAFE IF PRESCRIBED <p> Emwin Injection is safe to use in patients with kidney disease. No dose adjustment of Emwin Injection is recommended.However inform your doctor if you have an underlying kidney disease. Limited information is available in patients taking this medicine for more than one day. | - Liver : CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR <p> There is limited information available on the use of Emwin Injection in patients with liver disease. Please consult your doctor.

If you miss a dose of Emwin Injection take it as soon as possible. However if it is almost time for your next dose skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.\\n
