It can take several weeks for your symptoms to improve; so keep using the medicine even if you do not think it is working.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew crush or break it. Cogmentin 5mg/5mg Tablet may be taken with or without food but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

Do not skip any doses but if you miss a dose of this medicine take it as soon as you remember. Finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better and do not stop taking it suddenly.Some common side effects of this medicine include nausea vomiting loss of appetite fatigue and headache. If you miss a dose of Cogmentin 5mg/5mg Tablet take it as soon as possible. However if it is almost time for your next dose skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
