Do not take more or use it for longer duration than recommended by the doctor.The most common side effects of this medicine include nausea vomiting heartburn stomach pain and indigestion. If any of these side effects do not resolve with time or get worse you should let your doctor know. Your doctor may be able to suggest ways of preventing or reducing them.Before taking it you should let your doctor know if you have a history of ulcer or bleeding in your stomach high blood pressure or have any problems with your heart kidneys or liver. Please consult your doctor. | - Driving : UNSAFE <p> Chymoflex Tablet may decrease alertness affect your vision or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur. | - Kidney : CAUTION <p> Chymoflex Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Chymoflex Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.Use of Chymoflex Tablet is not recommended in patients with severe kidney disease. | - Liver : CAUTION <p> Chymoflex Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. If you miss a dose of Chymoflex Tablet take it as soon as possible. However if it is almost time for your next dose skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.

Q. What is Chymoflex Tablet?::: Chymoflex Tablet is a combination of four medicines: Aceclofenac Paracetamol Trypsin and Chymotrypsin. This medicine helps in decreasing pain and swelling. It lowers the levels of chemical substances in the body that causes pain and swelling.| Q. Can I get addicted to Chymoflex Tablet?::: No there is no report of any patient getting addicted to Chymoflex Tablet.| Q. Can I stop taking Chymoflex Tablet when my pain is relieved?::: Chymoflex Tablet is usually used for short term and can be discontinued when your pain is relieved. However Chymoflex Tablet should be continued if your doctor has advised you to do so.| Q. Can the use of Chymoflex Tablet cause dizziness?::: Yes the use of Chymoflex Tablet can cause dizziness (feeling faint weak unsteady or lightheaded) in some patients. If you feel dizzy or lightheaded it is better to rest for some time and resume once you feel better.| Q. Can the use of Chymoflex Tablet cause damage to kidneys?::: Yes long-term use of Chymoflex Tablet can cause damage to the kidneys. Normal kidneys produce a chemical called prostaglandins that protects them from damage. Use of painkillers lowers the levels of prostaglandins in the body leading to kidney damage due to long-term use. Use of painkillers is not recommended to patients with underlying kidney disease.| Q. Can the use of Chymoflex Tablet cause damage to liver?::: Chymoflex Tablet contains Paracetamol. This medicine is known to cause harm to the liver especially in the doses above the recommended level. Also avoid drinking alcohol while taking this medicine as it may further increase your risk of liver damage. Use of this medicine should preferably be avoided in patients with underlying liver disease. Contact your doctor immediately if you notice any early signs and symptoms of liver damage. These symptoms may include fever rash loss of appetite nausea vomiting fatigue stomach pain dark urine yellow skin or eyes and abnormal liver enzymes.| Q. How long will Chymoflex Tablet take to act?::: It may take about an hour to see the initial benefit of pain relief after taking Chymoflex Tablet.| Q. What if I forget to take Chymoflex Tablet?::: If you forget to take the scheduled dose of Chymoflex Tablet and it is almost time for your next dose skip the dose you missed and take your next dose at the scheduled time. Otherwise take it as soon as you remember and then go back to taking your medicine as you would normally. Do not take a double dose to make up for the dose you missed because this may increase the risk of unwanted side effect. If you are not sure what to do consult your doctor about how to manage a situation like this.| Q. Will a higher than the recommended dose of Chymoflex Tablet be more effective?::: No taking a higher than the recommended dose may not be more effective rather it may increase the chances of having some serious side effects and toxicity.
