Cefixime stops the growth of infection-causing bacteria. Clavulanic Acid enhances the activity of Cefixime against the bacteria as well as reduces resistance of the bacteria to the antibiotic. This medicine usually makes you feel better within a few days but you should continue taking it as prescribed even when you feel better to make sure that all the infectious bacteria are killed and do not become resistant.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Dissolve it in a glass of water before taking it. Amracef CV 100mg/62.5mg Tablet DT may be taken with or without food but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
