Introduction:

Trolci Soft Gelatin Capsule is a synthetic vitamin D analog which is active in the regulation of the absorption of calcium from the gastrointestinal tract and its utilization in the body. It is available as capsules containing 0.25 mcg or 0.5 mcg calcitriol.

How to use:

Calcitriol is vitamin D analogue used for hypocalcaemia. It helps in proper absorption and use of calcium and phosphate in the body. It works by helping the body to use more of the calcium found in foods and supplements|Vitamin D is used for Bone strength and prevention of bone disorders like rickets osteomalacia|It also contains butylated hydroxyanisole (BHA) and butylated hydroxytoluene (BHT) as antioxidants|Calcitriol is indicated in the management of secondary hyperparathyroidism and resultant metabolic bone disease in patients with moderate to severe chronic renal failure
