Hitsol Eye Ointment contains Sodium chloride. It is used to reduce swelling of the surface of the eye (cornea) in certain eye conditions. Decreasing swelling of the cornea may lessen eye discomfort or irritation caused by the swelling. Eyes can get infections from bacteria fungi or viruses. Eye infections can occur in different parts of the eye and can affect just one eye or both. Symptoms of eye infections may include redness itching swelling discharge pain or problems with vision. Hitsol works by drawing fluid out of the cornea to reduce swelling. Use under medical supervision.
